Your Bio

Welcome to my homepage. I'm a digital photographer easing into the profession available for gigs in and around the San Francisco/East Bay Area—weddings, commitment ceremonies, birthday parties, anniversary banquets, retirement dinners, business and corporate events, quinceañeras, bar mitzvahs, baby showers, holiday celebrations, performances, publicity shots, modeling and talent portfolios, commercial applications, sporting events; or just everyday casual and formal portraits (pets a specialty).

I take the pictures, edit them, put them on a CD, and give them to you to print and use as you choose. It's the perfect affordable solution if you don't like having to pay extra for prints, negatives, albums, or packages. It's also ideal for smaller or limited-budget celebrations, and informal occasions and gatherings.

My strength is having a good eye and instinct for capturing those "special moments." I've been shooting weddings and parties as a hobby for friends and family for over 20 years, and professionally for over five years. My style is what I call "real-world"; pictures you would probably want to take yourself if you had the time and could be in two places at once. Nothing particularly unique or fancy; just genuine, appealing pictures of nice people (and animals) in the moment.

In addition to doing work for individual clients, I have also photographed events for organizations such as the Alameda County Health Care Foundation, the City of Oakland, OBDC (Oakland Business Development Corporation), EBALDC (East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation) and San Francisco's HIFY (Health Iniatives for Youth).

Below are examples of my work. I use a Canon EOS 5D (a digital SLR) with a 580EX external flash and a Sigma 24–70mm f/2.8 lens, which is my primary lens; and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for more specialized work.
